Sue is delighted to announce her extended workshop studio will be ready for use this summer.
She is not holding a Fringe Exhibition at her Studio for Holmfirth Art Week 2018 but will be the artist exhibiting at Tottties Bistro Garden Centre, where she will be showcasing her recent collection of Desiguel designer shawls as well as small nuno felted art works and a small collection of felted jewellery.
Sue is delighted to announce that (although her studio has not yet undergone the extension and refurbishment) Mytholmbridge Art Studio is once again part of the Holmfirth Artweek Fringe Exhibition which is taking place on the 2nd-7th July 2017 between the hours of 2pm and 7pm.
Sue Clay will be exhibiting a new range of natural wool, felted and printed works and once again welcoming the following artists…

Mytholmbridge Art Studio is about to have a makeover. It is expanding into the ground floor which will provide another studio space to work in.
Watch this space for the new launch in 2017!
Sue is in the process of moving house so ‘ in house’ workshops will now be on hold until spring 2017.
Australia beckons in the New Year where she will be visiting Felt West in Perth and her family.
Sue has run several workshops in her studio this year.
These included:
Designing wall hangings
White textured scarves which were subsequently dyed with landscape dyes.
Nuno felted scarves.
3D workshops…bags/hats
These also included a scrumptious 2 course lunch and wine and lots of fun was had.
She has also worked with groups further a field:

Sue has created some large wall hangings for Reliance Gears.
Sue has also been working on a community project in Brockholes, creating a wallhanging of St. George and the Dragon.
She is undertaking an interior design Commission for a New Restaurant opening up in Huddersfield in November which are large nuno felted panels.
Sue will be exhibiting 5 pieces of her new collection of felted work at Holmfirth Artweek!
She will also be exhibiting in the Fringe at UPCOUNTRY in Holmfirth this year during Artweek.
In September she has been invited to hold an exhibition at The Colne Vally Museum in their new refurbished Gallery Space.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Fringe Exhibition at Mytholmbridge Art Studio. We raised £350.00 for MacMillan.
It was a very well attended exhibition and the Fashion & Fizz event took place on the warmest evening of the year, so we were lucky to be able to host it outside in the garden. A beautiful evening and a wonderful week!
